Workouts:
AM: Regular warmup, check practice and a kick warmup followed by some ring time!
First, 3 rounds of leg fighting. First round, low kicks only, 2nd teeps and low kicks, 3rd those two plus body kicks.
Then, 3 rounds of light-medium sparring with full gear. First round I was slow, but warmed up in the second. Kyle is finally starting to hit me harder, which brings home the lesson better when I drop my guard. My checks are far from good, but at least I am trying to intercept. He continues to try to block my body kicks with his arm, which I exploit. Having trouble seeing and reacting to the difference in hip movement between a front kick/teep and a low kick. Frustrating.
PM: It was time for a Mil-Fit workout, so I took the September challenge from Sherdog, which was:
25 burpees, Run 1 mile, 25 Burpees, Run 1 mile, 25 burpees, Run 1 mile, 25 burpees
